MedScrub supports two integration models for EHRs. Native FHIR integration is end-to-end programmatic — patient data is pulled into the proxy, processed, and reviewed clinical content writes back as a FHIR DocumentReference. Embedded chart-sidebar integration is the EHR vendor’s marketplace or third-party app pattern — MedScrub runs inside the EHR chart UI and receives patient context from the host application.
End-to-end programmatic integration. Patient data flows into MedScrub’s self-hosted clinical data repository, every supported clinical skill is available, and reviewed clinical content writes back to the EHR as a FHIR DocumentReference.
MedScrub runs as an embedded panel inside the EHR chart. The host EHR provides patient context; single-patient skills are available, and population-level workflows require the native FHIR integration tier.
